Bob Collett is the CEO and founder of
Rank High Today. He has 25 years of successful business
management and management consulting experience which brings a fresh
approach to Search Engine Marketing and Pay per click management.
Collett was well known as a telecommunications
management consulting for more than 15 years, helping thousands of clients
save millions of dollars on their network and communications bills.
His client base ranged from small trucking firms to major transportation
giants such as Princess Cruise Lines. He developed call management
software for the legal industry and provided network design and call traffic
reporting for firms such as Baker & Hostetler, Squire Sanders and Dempsey in
the Cleveland area.
Known as the consultants consultant,
he often worked behind the scenes
supporting the projects of other major telecommunications consulting firms
across the country to advise on telecom and data systems at hospitals,
schools, municipalities, and commercial clients of all sizes.
Collett later established a long distance telephone company, and emerged
into the international prepaid calling business, where he developed the first
website to offer prepaid calling cards to wholesale customers. At that time
Search Engine Optimization did not exist as an industry, but Collett
developed techniques for getting his websites ranked #1 on AOL for the
search phrase "phone cards" prior to the emergence of Google as the major
search engine.

Build useful websites so that real people find them valuable. Create
interesting content. Have people link to your website because you have
well organized information that their visitors want. Pay attention to
the major search engines such as Google and Yahoo to keep up with their
algorithms for what they say is important and remember that content is king.
